While God longs to give us the desires of our heart, He also desires for our hearts to long for what His will is for us. Prayer is more than simply asking God for what we want. Prayer is asking God to help us get our will in line with His will. Since God is perfect, that means His will is perfect. There is no better place to be than in God’s perfect will. However, being in God’s will does not mean life will be easy. It is often in the difficult times that God shapes and molds us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.

God’s Word, the Bible, tells us that we are to “Bear one another’s burdens…”. One way we do this is by lifting up each other in prayer. The Prayer Team at Grace Fellowship is our “first responders” when a need arises.
